Is there interest in this? I think we can get a group of 10-12 guys and girls (if there are any girls on the internet) again. We'd run from September until the end of November, take a month off for the holidays, and resume in January. People can back out in that month off too, and we'd get some new blood.

Cool? I want to get people who missed out last time, so I'm reserving spots for Not Dave, Lockes, and Zazi if they want in.

Also, I'm interested in organizing a monthly mix exchange. There'd be no limit on how many members we'd have for that. Essentially, anyone interested in joining that month would send me a 40-80 minute mix of untagged music that I'd pass along to someone else involved at random. You would then have two-three weeks to listen and review the music sent to you. It's a neat way to listen to new music, and there's less of a commitment than SotW. If you don't feel like sending a mix in one month, don't. Ideally, we'd have VGM people sending VGM mixes to hip-hop heads and vice versa. I hope there's interest in that one, too.

I don't think the mix would take up that much time. You'd get the equivalent of one CD a month of untagged music (so you don't have any prejudices before listening to it), and write 100 words or so about the music you get. At the end of the month, I reveal who received the respective mixes, and you'd then be free to reveal what your mix contained if you want.

Also I should totally be in the same boat as Lockes and Zazi and ND since I only got one week last time tbqh. And as far as numbers are concerned I am fine with however many people get in and will listen regardless.

Well I just remember it taking me like 20 minutes to upload one mp3 to some site and deciding right there that uploading things is probably a no go for me.
