I've got a couple old strategy guides in pretty good condition: the Nintendo Power LTTP, Link's Awakening and Super Metroid, as well as some Prima guides and the Lunar books. Does anyone here have any advice for getting a reasonable price for these?

As far as I know, there's no real demand for them due to the internet being so prevalent (Think about what site you're on for a moment, then remember that it's not the only one of its kind). I mean maybe as a collector's thing, but I have no idea how to go about selling them like that

Super Metroid starts around $40, I know that much. It depends on the game, really.

EDIT: Obviously only as collectors items

I would recommend looking on amazon to see what they sell for.

The Lunar books (if they're the official Working Designs ones) are at least $30 a pop, I think the Eternal Blue one is going for $80+.

Even some recent ones have really good collector value, Star Ocean: Second Evolution is $50+ and the Future Press Bayonetta one is like $250+, I've seen it go for more than a thousand more than once.

I chose poorly. Black Turtle chose wisely.

Yeah, they're more collector pieces than anything. I'd go for ebay or amazon, though.

I would definitely be marketing them towards collectors.

I'm hesistant to go on ebay and amazon because I've never sold anything on there before and it seems like no one would want to purchase from me. These aren't anywhere near in mint condition either; there's spine damage and I wrote my name in some of them (I was like 9 years old, give me some slack).
