This gen had tons of great jrpgs on the ds/psp, but i felt it was moreso becuase jrpgs were relegated to handhelds. Forcing a genre to be relegated to one area of gaming is one step closer to its demise. I also question how good the vita will be in platformers and adventure games along the mold of jak and daxter.
