For those of you not in the know, several Republican governors/state legislatures are attempting to institute laws that require photo IDs to vote in elections, thus disenfranchising many members of the urban poor, students, and the elderly. Coincidentally, most of the groups affected over this tend to vote Democratic. because discouraging more people by making it harder to vote and decreasing turnout is just what we need
