I was just watching the episode of Seinfeld where Jerry has to choose between "The Voice" and his girlfriend, and he sides with The Voice, albeit temporarily.

Terrible decision, especially considering she was one of Jerry's most attractive girlfriends on the show.

So I was just wondering if there was another instance of a worse reason for a breakup in a TV show.
