Some of the comments seem right this seems more like an abridged...a bad abridged? (shrug) ahhhh weird nostalgia / looking back and see how ridiculous the dub was.

Nothing's as good as Data Squad's final battle. Marcus and his Agumon and their old catchphrase. And Marcus punches the f*** out of a god-machine's face.

But yeah, this was good. For first-season stuff, the part here Angewoman and Ladydevimon get into a cat fight and Tai and Izzy are like "can't stop watching" is better though.

^ Was actually pointing out the lulzyness of the dub rather then the fight itself but yeah the season with the MC punching the **** out of literally everyone looks cool.

I wouldn't try marathonning the dub ever again.

I actually hated listening to "Hey Digimon Hey Digimon" for a while after that because of its overuse (but loved it in the finale <3).

For all its problems, the dub really nailed that part. Kind of an odd time to veer into self-parody, but it certainly works.
