Any game that you download that has an 'unlock code' that comes with it won't expire. There's no expiration date on it, like every other free PS+ game.

So wait, I could have downloaded those games from last month and play them past my expiration? If so, I want to hang the person/people that told me otherwise because I missed out on getting Sonic the Hedgehog 2, not that I don't own it for 3+ systems or anything

Sonic 2, and Streets of Rage 2, are locked to your subscription. Those won't work once your PS+ runs out, but Bomberman will since it doesn't require the sub to continue working. You can check it by hitting triangle and then 'information' to see whether or not a game expires.

No, he's wrong. It still gives the disclaimer when you go to buy it that you will lose use of it without PS+, and it carries an expiration date of when your subscription runs out.

Edit: My information was wrong, but ZFS is still wrong. It doesn't properly list the expiration for anything that has a demo with a full game unlock. Trust me though, it reverts to demo status if you lose PS+. I already had this happen with Stacking during the PSN outage.

Hmm. I've heard differently with regard to unlock codes, but if you've had it happen to you before I guess that must be the case. It's believable enough, anywa, that it would revert back.

Yeah, I was really hoping it wouldn't work out that way since the whole reason I got PS+ back then was because it was slightly cheaper than Stacking. And I didn't realize at the time it doesn't let you keep free stuff. Not that there's anything left to do in Stacking though, so it's not a huge loss.
