3 and 4 are pretty close because I tend to extend 4 enough to count the finale but there are a couple of real duds in the first half of 4 that hold it back. 2 has some fairly weak moments too but an amazing four-part finisher. 1 stumbles quite a bit as these things often do on their way out the gate but the last third ought to convince people it's worth sticking around for.

Really, this is the kind of thing that I think you'd either have to be a fan of the particular genre or go wiki-surfing or something in order to get. It's not the most popular series in the world.

Yeah, the first post was kind of way obvious to people familiar with the show. Especially the "I count the finale as an extension" gig. But I figured precious few people here are remotely familiar with that show so I had to make it obvious.
