I also really like the overworld/city theme, reminds me off a mix between Hans Zimmer's TDK "Watch the World Burns" and something out of Burton's Batman films by Danny Elfman.

They made a "hanging" joke twice in four minutes? Ugh.

Anyway, Batman AA really only had two problems: disappointing bosses and an annoyingly slow default move speed so that you had press the run button at all times. The latter seems to still be around. Hopefully the bosses are better this time, though.

The bosses are really the only complaint I had about the first game. I like what they tried to do with Killer Croc's encounter. Instead of making it just a boss fight, they tried doing something different. Though it still amounted to being boring and tedious after a little while.

What they did with Scarecrow though, oh god awesome. I'm sad that it seems he won't be in this game. Maybe they're just doing a really good job of keeping it quiet, but I doubt it.

Bane and Croc also come out of the water, just depending on which ending you get. And I haven't seen either of them so far either. So that doesn't give me much hope for Scarecrow.

Alright, fine. Let's say the run button is a general feature. It should still be a control stick thing and just use the run button for something else. When do you need to walk so slowly that it's more convenient to not press a button than it is to press the stick softly?

The pressing a button to run isn't a big deal. It works fine. You're usually holding another button to crouch and sneak around as well.
