Her family owns an autoparts store. One of the things they do is buy stuff one sale and resell it at their store. They got excited when my mom works at a Walmart, so now my friend's girlfriend has me go to Walmart and buy stuff using my mom's employee discoun, which isn't too bad. Is it a little awkward buying things like 500 dollars in coolant? Yes. But They've never asked questions.

Now she's having me do things like help her friends move (I have to wake up ungodly early because they live hours away).

And now starting next week, I guess I HAVE to help clean her store. I'm essentially going to be an employee doing menial **** without pay because I don't have the balls to stand up to her and would rather complain about it on gamefaqs And I guess i have to come in before 8 or I'm gonna be *****ed at.

Why are you doing this? What is your motivation? Do you think your friend will hold anything against you just because you don't do everything his girlfriend says? As for the girl herself, why does she insist on asking you to do all these things?

The bottom line is this. The guy is my best friend and so since I usually don't get to hang out with him. He lives with her now and since she monopolizes all of his time, we don't get to hang out that often anymore unless she herself has plans, or I'm helping her with errands.

Oh wait I sort of get it now having read the rest of the topic.

I have a friend in the same position as your friend.

I just don't see him much and I don't care. When I do see him it when me and other friends show up at his work (the c*** doesn't work there though) and give him a hard time. Oh well. He's too easliy brainwashed to see how unhappy he is. Nothing I can say will change that so I just stopped giving a s***. We were actually roommates too when he met her and pretty much move her in without really discussing it with me or our other roommate. The b**** walked in like she owned the place and thought she could boss us around and rule the roost without even paying rent. She seemed to have a "lol I'm a shrill-voiced b****y, unpredictable alpha female! I have my new boyfriend wrapped around my finger so his buddies should be just as easy to control ^_^" attitude. She chipped in equally for utilities, but not rent, and then second we got into an argument in which she uttered the phrase "I pay rent," she found out that she had misjudged me. I didn't flip out on her, I only raised my voice, but our other roommate who is more alpha than I am had already yelled at her and had tried to keep me from getting involved but couldn't. We each had 2 explosive fights with her in the following months (during which our friend, her boyfriend hid in their room to avoid being involved).

Some people should know better and if they don't, they need to be taught.

What you need to do is have you and your friend make a plan to spend time together, just you and him. If his girlfriend is understanding, she'll allow your friend some personal time without her.


If not then, well I'm not sure what's the best way to tell your friend that their girlfriend is being selfish(among other things), but I think it needs to be said.
