I always seemed to do that and then I'd breeze through Crawly when I had to go get the time machine. I never knew why. I've probably gone through it once or twice first just to hear Belthasar talk but that's it.

Hey, it's hard for me to fathom but some folks haven't played Chrono Trigger. Hell, I think a lot of us have that one game we're expected to have played but never got around to!

I played Chrono Trigger but can't remember that part at all, mostly because the game didn't leave a strong impression on me (Played it 3 years ago).
The sewer always seemed so out of the way, since all you get are one or 2 lines of dialogue about it and don't really have anything pointing you in that direction. And yet, the game makes it so that you remember having actually gone there even if you never did. Like you were supposed to. Needless to say, I missed it the first time.
