most intriguing release of the week is definitely Half Minute Hero, which is a port of the PSP version with optional HD graphics, and some sort of 4 player online mode. Check out the video review, it looks pretty cool.

Galaga Legions DX is a bullet hell game, from the makers of Pac Man CE apparently, I'm sure it'll be pretty good.

aaaand backbreaker: Vengeance apparently is just one of the modes from the "backbreaker" video game, which wasn't very good in the first place, not expecting much!

between Half Minute Hero and potentially Galaga, should be a good week!

no word on deal of the week yet, the popcap one is still going on though, so if you are interested I suggest you check it out!

Always wanted to play Half-Minute Hero, but never had a PSP. I never even knew it was slated to come out on XBL, so I'm suddenly extremely excited.

played and beated it on the PSP

I was playing on easy so I could finish it quickly! WHICH I just did, so there.

Anyway, I think it may be the ONLY handheld game of this gen I've actually finished. So I guess it's my favorite!

I already have HMH for PSP, but I'm debating getting this version. I never finished it and I just feel like I'd be more likely to play an XBLA game than a PSP game.

half minute hero is like the perfect handheld game

its like warioware kinda

it works for short timekilling situations but I cant imagine sitting down in front of a tv and playing it for like an hour straight

Well, the joke is that 'bore' kinda rhymes with 'corps'. It's not a perfect rhyme, sure, but it's close. Also I thought Hard Corps was supposed to be bad.

I'll go ahead and recommend Comic Jumper at 400 points. It's really funny and has a good challenge to it. And at 400 points the relatively short length is more justified.
