There was even a game for the DS, and a Smash-like for the GC.

Even Viewtiful Joe Double Trouble was pretty good

Red Hot Rumble is one of the best Smash clones imo

There's a sequel but its pretty lame. Like I won't say its terrible or anything, but there's not a second of playing it where you wouldnt rather be playing the original. Had that same feeling with No More Heroes 2.

The strange cast and feel were awwsome.
Just seeing the further charecterization of guys like Charles the 3rd were neat.
Though some of it was mostly in Red Hot Rumble.

I kid you not I had no idea the unlockable characters in the 1st until waaaay later.
Immediately went to try them out!
