I beat the original back when I was in highschool, and playing through Nioh 2 made me want to revisit it. I downloaded Black on Xbone but those exploding shuriken ninja were making me too frustrated. Eventually got past them but I got distracted and stopped my playthrough.

I'll probably give it another shot with the collection but I kind of wish it was the originals instead of Sigma.

I forget, does it come out on PC?

Also: remember these are all the easier versions. Not the OG versions. This much I know because I'm looking forward to the mods that change them to the original on PC if they give it to us.

Sigma 1 is serviceable. I don't really care for how Rachel plays, and the other changes to Ryu's gameplay are... fine, I guess. Not deal breakers but I don't understand why the changes were made in the first place.

Sigma 2 fundamentally fucks with the design and balance of the game though, and is worse for it despite NG2's issues.

I wanted to like these games since I got them on ps3 and they had good reviews, but unfortunately it just didn't take. I enjoyed both DMC and Bayonetta, yet NG just did not have what I was looking for, a shame

Sigma 1 and 2 nerfs both games and add terrible sections where you play as other characters. 2 gets rid of the gore for purple fairy dust and adds crappy boss fights.

The price is still unlisted on Steam. If it's over $39.99 then it's waiting time for a sale.
Haven't played the Sigma stuff but I could go for an ease in difficulty since I don't game as much as when the Xbox ones were available.

I only played the first Ninja gaiden on Xbox and I remember going through a watery tunnel, and coming into some kind of church. Then a lady floated down from above and proceeded to kick the crap out of me until I rage quit the game permanently.
