Fantastic premiere. Also AoS and all the non-Marvel Studios shows are effectively decanonised and that is ok. They can be their own thing. It makes the MCU more accessible, but its still there if you want to watch it.

yeah the entire premise for the show is rooted in something that happens in Endgame so there's kind of a spoiler there by nature

yeah you should basically assume you need to have watched those two for everything from here on out because the repercussions of them are basically impossible to ignore for any project going forward

FFH, Wandavision, TFATWS, and Loki are all direct sequels to Endgame

also I'm watching this right now and my wife can't figure out why Loki isn't blue if none of his powers work and there's no magic in the TVA

Isn't Odin the one that did something to make him not be blue? It wasn't Loki himself doing it, at the least.

We know it's not Loki/his own power because in Thor 1 he has those "WTF I'M BLUE" moments. I forget if it outright shows Odin do it or just implied he did, but I assume the answer is Odin did something permanent-ish somehow.

Because that's what I took from that little video, that there is only a single timeline/world right now but it used to be a multiverse, and I assume it will go back to a multiverse at some point in the future. A friend and I were having a discussion about it and on opposite sides. He thinks there still is a multiverse but the TVA is just watching over the one timeline we're experiencing and theoretically there is a TVA for each universe within the multiverse.

What your friend says has certainly been my idea of it. Timelines are specific to their universes, so at least in the current main MCU universe there is one timeline being maintained and other multiverses may have their own TVA or may not.

Like Dragon Ball has Timelines and Universes as separate things, ie Universe 7 has Goku and friends in it, but Universe 7 also has the Future Trunks timeline.

Actually looking at it like this, I suppose it is a possibility. Like when they show the one timeline getting close to critical range that could be it crossing with another universe's timeline or something similar.

I wonder if the growing focus on the Multiverse will actually impact What If...? It seems like a fun detour, but maybe they'll use that to write out Chadwick Boseman without it seeming odd, and it might open up other avenues as well.

It seems more likely there's going to be a twist where the thing they state is the main problem in the first episode isn't actually going to be the case, especially in a series about Loki of all people.

Yeah, it's very possible that this is a ruse by Mobius or the Variant is in disguise, but either way, I wasn't expecting it.
