When my toilet was clogged from a shit some dude on here told me to throw a bucket of water into the bowl as hard as I can because the force will simulate the water rushing out of the tank and it'd force a flush. I think he was trying to trick me tho

I used to be super constipated and only shit like once a week, when I was a kid. Everytime I did it, it would clog. I used a stick from the yard to chock up the stuff and then sometimes it would go down. But I used to spend a lot of time with the plunger

I think he was trying to trick me thoyour toilet is essentially a siphon, when the water level rises above the crest of the u-bend it sucks all the content out of the bowl until the water level gets low enough to let air through the drain. you can flush a toilet by just dumping a large amount of water quickly into the bowl, its essentially how older "high flow" toilets worked after all. the newer "low flow" bowls jet water out near the drain to rapidly fill the u-bend level and start the siphon effect without dumping a couple gallons of water into the bowl. knowing all that, yeah, that person was fucking with you. a clogged toilet would just flood if you did this... --- Taarsidath-an halsaam.
