Pokelabo's handling of the EN version was horrible. They only used it as a quick cash grab to fuel their next release (fuck SINoALICE btw) and announced the shutdown less than three months after the opening, which was absolute bullshit. Meanwhile, the JP version (the one that matters) is consistently making a lot of money and just celebrated its three year anniversary with a Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha collaboration event. I actually like most of the cast in this show but they needed to tone this guy down. Also don't know how nobody suspects ~~Eriol of causing all these weird/bad incidents. The bitch constantly told Bam to leave her alone, constantly worked against him and made it clear she only cared about climbing the tower. How many times you gonna get fucked over Bam before you understand it? Good play on someone who has no power to play the rest of the field like she has done. Obviously I wanna see her "get hers", but she is playing the game. The story did get a bit shaky at the end and there were a few things that felt like they didn't get explained well enough, but the character interactions and stylish animation stayed great the whole way through. Overall, I really enjoyed it. I'd give it an 8 out of 10, not fantastic but still pretty good, and I still don't see why people thought it was so bad. I also have the last few episodes of Twin Angel Break left to finish. Solving some dark mysteries that are plaguing the town, interfering with feuding gangs, suicides, drug rings. But good god, the show was really dragged down by the shippiness of the smol and the generic male MC that was way older than her. Holy hell, it was really bad. Like... so many times I was watching and there was a scene that made me say "Yeah, I need to drop this shit". Yet I somehow didn't and stuck with it. Dunno why I didn't drop it. Fortunately nothing happened in the end, so theres that at least. But if there is one thing I can appreciate about this show, was the blooming bromances. Becoming sworn brothers, having each others backs, sometimes brawling, and making up. The damning scene against her was being told ~~not to rely on sloppy sentimentality~~ for the play, asking for suggestions, having on her shelf cool options including ~~a war story and Sherlock vs Arsene~~ and immediately defaulting to ~~romance~~ as soon as possible. On top of that, their close encounter came off as forced and creepy. She's in fourth place. Azami - not even an option, nothing to say. Disqualified lmao Anastasia - She's probably tied with Hatsuho in terms of attractiveness, but so far she's been difficult to deal with on a professional level, let alone a romantic one. Things seem to be warming up between the two though. Probably second, might get to first.
