Fuck

Even when I went to michigan that was the year it started being 95+ every day of july and august and it stayed that way the entire time I lived in the state. The house didn't even have AC because it's not supposed to get that hot there.

I'm not sure where they put the thermometer; I'd guess under the hood somewhere. it tends to read higher than ambient temp if the car has been sitting out in the sun. once you start really moving it will get closer to the actual outside temperature.

Man, I was complaining about 95-96 temps this last week. I think I have been out in like 105-110 (probably certainly when I lived in Wickenburg and TUscan Arizona as a kid), but yeah if it's anywhere close to 122, I mean, you can cook food at 122 lol.

Last week? Yeah it was last week I think. I drove back to Olympia for the first time since I moved. It wasn't bad getting there, but my saturn (gonna be selling it I think, and just keeping my minivan), is out of freeon, so the AC doesn't work.

Driving back It was supposedly only like 90 out...but it was stop and go on I-5 up to the army base, 40+ minutes....and I literally cooked, I had sunburn and was stiff the next day, not just over my arms etc, my whole body cooked. I don't think it was 120+ in my car, but it was freaking hot just the same.

I can't imagine driving a car without AC in 100+ degree temps, I just would not do it, i'd pull over find shade and wait till night.

I wanna say the highest it's ever gotten where I live is 120, but I'm not 100% sure.

I do know it's been 115 a few times before though. With no/low humidity I can walk around in all black long sleeves/pants. With high humidity I can't deal with high 60s even in my birthday suit.

One day I went out in a black hoodie and pants and thought 'it's a bit warm today... huh'.

It was 100 degrees.

Had a few people try and convince me to move there recently lol, and I was like, nope. Not even thinking about it, double nope with a side of nope and nope sprinkled on top.

I don't care if it's cheap, I don't care if I have relatives and friends there, I don't care if the food is good and there are actual rain storms sometimes.

Homey don't play with post 100 degree weather regularly. I ain't even visiting the state (and even having lived there as a kid, I never got to see the grand canyon!!).

Honestly if anything would make me move there it would be good carne asada fries.

I don't mind scorpions, not even snakes, I used to play in snake infested hills with my brother in AZ when I was like 6 or 7. I didn't like the spiders though, never liked spiders.

But if it's too hot now, I don't get hungry, so even snarfy steak fries ain't gonna do it for me. Cheap rocks, but i'd rather be homeless in 60 degree weather then own a house in 110 degree weather (even with AC, cause I'd be stuck in there all the time).

Still 500 for a studio sounds soooo nice, it's like double that here.

According to whom? 115-117 is fucking KILLER and it's consistent. Just because humidity makes it worse doesn't mean it's easy to deal with.

I live in the Caribbean so it's not only hot but 85-100% humidity most of the time. Especially now its hurricane season. It very rarely gets into high 30s here (100F), the norm is round 32C (90F). But I'd rather deal with dry 100+ degrees than extremely oppressive 90 degrees. The humidity saps all your energy. Yesterday I soaked right through all my clothes in sweat and had to be chugging huge cups of water to avoid dehydration by sweating out.

@MeteoricBurst

A couple tropical storms recently passed actually but we weren't hit directly. Gonzalo and Isaias, the latter which is now a hurricane affecting the US. But its the general weather pattern round this time that's very hot and sticky and this is amplified greatly when any decently strong system approaches.
