I can't really vote family member, my child, or my spouse, because I refuse to get married, am never having kids, and I have family members who I'd watch burn to death in a fire and I wouldn't even piss on them to put it out. But I'd be willing to risk or even sacrifice my life to save someone close to me. Family I actually care about, my significant other, very close friends, etc. Circumstances change a lot, though. It's easier to accept the risk of possible death or injury to save someone than it is to accept a literal and inevitable sacrifice where I'm 100% going to die. Moreso if the death in question is going to be excruciatingly painful or harsh (and in converse, it would be easier to accept if it's going to be quick and painless). I'd also be a lot more likely to try and save someone who was in danger through no fault of their own, as opposed to someone who is only at risk due to their own stupidity or poor choices. Like most hypotheticals people ask here, it's kind of impossible for me to answer without specific details.
