the stupid thing is most of the people who scream that don't do anything with it

they still use the stock ass garbage launcher, the stock ass texting app, and probably have no app disabled so they're downloading updates to shit they don't even use, ect.

I have bluetooth headphones, but the ones that jack in are usually better. And Idk if the bluetooth ones got better, but that had a little lag. So, any music games I played didn't work well with the bluetooth ones...

I used Android phones from the OG Verizon Moto Droid, all the way up through the Pixel 2XL. I switched to the iPhone XS Max when it came out, first ever Apple device. I couldnt agree with you more. I used to roll my eyes at people who said about iOS it just works. Boy was I wrong. I like Android a lot. I always will. But iOS is just better. And if you get an Apple Watch its an amazing experience.
And when it comes to privacy, Google is abhorrent (among other reasons). Thats the main reason I switched. Apple doesnt pimp your data out.

one thing I commend apple for, though, is long-term support for older devices like the 6s, which is almost five years old.

My Google Pixel was running fine, but stopped receiving updates at the end of 2019, after being out for only three years.

I find iOS more user friendly. I had an easier time navigating through it and stuff. And always have trouble when trying to use android stuff...

This is one thing I don't like. But you can avoid the upgrades. If you keep saying no, they say they will automatically do it at night. But only if you have it plugged in. And only around a specific time. So, I make sure it's charged enough before too late.

ios is so much easier, all i have to do is carry around special headphone cables instead of the industry standard, a special bus/power cable instead of the industry standard, and never charge my phone at night.

You can charge it at night. But you'll have a forced update after a certain period of time. Though, it only happens at a particular time. Once you're past that time, it can't seem to try again until the next day at that time...

It's also great that apple protects me from accidentally using an inferior non-webkit rendering engine for my browser. imagine if i downloaded firefox simply because i wanted my safari to have the firefox icon, and then didnt realize i was actually using firefox to render my webpages. what a disaster that would be. this also protects me from accidentally using any evil browser extensions such as an adblocker :-)

Most of the jaw dropping deals on phones require signing up with the carrier for a 2 year contract. If you break that contract they will happily charge you a huge sum of money.

I agree. Ive had a couple of Samsung Galaxys and thought the UI was ugly and bloated. I can do everything I want with ease on my iPhone.

the $400 iPhone SE has better specs than $1200 androids, too

no they dont? the iPhone 6s, which is a phone form 2015, is still being supported by updates from Apple that optimize performance. androids stop getting updates like 1-2 years in
