Siamese brothers, I really just wanted one but they screamed when I picked one up and not the other. I have the space, we have 3 bedrooms and it's just me and the wife, one room is basically a cat room anyway.

I usually try to go for something personality related, so far "shits next to litter" and "curtain climber" aren't all that appealing

I was going to be a little annoyed that you were trying to discourage people from adopting pets, but it was the complete opposite. Congrats on the addition to the family.

That actually applies to my dog kind of, since his name is Ruckus.

Just class up "Shits next to litter". Maybe he just doesn't play by the rules. What's a name that doesn't play by the rules?

Come on bruh. You gotta at least claim one. That way you guys can each have a favorite. She's moving in on both of them and trying to make you second favorite of everyone.

From what I understand about Siamese cats, you should be prepared for a lot of that screaming. They're a very vocal breed.

Yeah when they have been wrestling they carry on and meow and squall, if I leave them alone for a bit and go back in the room they both are meowing a lot. I had a female Siamese growing up, she was very much a stand off cat, not mean, just didn't really want to hang out much. I read boys are different.

This is weird.. I adopted them and it's a non-kill shelter I got them from. Most shelter workers are volunteers and I never cared enough to look into the euthanizing process at shelters to see if they get paid to do it.

The fuck kind of question is that?

Also, just my personal feelings, but I find it weird when people rename cats who already have perfectly good names.

It's less weird if it's a young kitten (like these two cutie pies) because they haven't had time to get used to their names. I also don't begrudge anyone who renames a cat who has an offensive name, a boring placeholder name (Fluffy, Kitty, Spot, etc.), or that shares that name with someone you know. Fun story: I have a cousin who adopted a dog and gave it the same name as one of our other cousins. Very weird. But, I couldn't keep a cat that say had the same name as my mom. I'd have to rename it.

But I'll see people adopt cats who are six or seven years old with a cute name and just change it. Idk, that feels weird to me.

Personally, I think Big Mac and Frosty are cute names, but I understand the fun of coming up with a name of your own. I had a lot of very uniquely named cats throughout my life.

No I get that, they were at the shelter for all of two days and they were given those names at the shelter so I felt like I was good to change it. My boy that I adopted is named Boots and I hate it, but he knows it and responds to it so I never changed it.

Awwww they love each other. It always warms my heart to see cats getting along; mine barely tolerate each other.

I found a kitten a few years ago. I didn't want to keep him, but one of my neighbors thought he was adorable. So, I let her name him in the hopes that she'd get attached and take him home. Long story short, she didn't and now I have a cat with a name I'm not fond of either lol.

that's the best part. they like to warn their human not to go into the shower.
plus any other reason those cats can think of.
