They feel very different. Episode 6 I feel meh about, I really liked the end joke of 7, same with 8 but I thought 8 was overall better than 7.

I think this season has been good-to-great with the exception of the Heist episode.

Season 4 has been up and down but still more than worthy of viewership. This last episode was completely awesome.

R+M was never even that good, the show itself and its fans tried too hard to make it the next big animated show on par with the major ones like simpsons/futurama just so they could act like they were the original fans. but it just never hit that mark

The most recent episode is a genuine contender for my favorite episode in the series.

Season 4 has been great, episodes 1, 4, and 8 are top tier stuff.

I mean imo Rick and Morty is right up there with early Simpsons/Futurama/Family Guy, and it's the only modern cartoon comedy I'll watch reruns of.

Considering it is only in season 4 of 10 episode seasons, it is still very much hitting it's stride. It's actually quite rare for shows to be utterly amazing right off the bat and Rick and Morty has been pretty good so far.

Story train was dumb shit where each scene has completely nothing to do with the last. I loved the latest episode that referenced the early 90s movie Alive

the train ep was weird. i was laughing, but i didn't know what was going on. the stinger sold it for me though, i think.
parasites ep was great.
acid ep was amazing. not Tales from the Citadel amazing, but still one of the best eps of the series.

He's a Rick and Morty fan, so chances are yes. I'm just surprised he expressed enough independent thought to ask the internet instead of just auto liking it.

The vat of acid episode was amazing. And that almost 9/11 joke was hilarious.
