My town mislynch streak coming to an end doesn't quite mean as much to my heart since I was lynched in the final 3 last year without getting to say a word in a game where I led the lynch against 3 scum. That made me sick for a good two weeks after. TBH Day 2 when I went to sleep early with people kind of thinking of murdering me I was at peace with it ending here. No king rules forever. I was more concerned about my POE. I was planning on voting Lea first thing today since I held a belief in lea/red not being town on town but the initial flip and now Scare's very bad take has me reconsidering things.

I actually do remember being scum once and "lynching" you, only to have you mayor'd by Puns or something directly after. Was that Red Dead?

5tar's flip even made me wonder myself why my role exists. I kinda think it's a response to my Danganronpa game where scum killed you day 1 and we had a big post game talk about strongman and stuff. If all of town started powerless except the heroes, then technically you can just be killed night for free. 1. Even worse if scum is told that everyone is vanilla. So in a way, my sole purpose this game was to protect you night 1, (assuming you rolled town in the first place. But the same can be applied to whoever the power player in the game is)

It's less about actual action and more tact. In my heart of hearts I am a deeply serious person when I am focused on things despite loving to write humor. So being attacked with jokes is just the opposite of who I am. Nothing about what I have said is very carefully worded though, many problems I have with any mafia player stops where the mafia game ends with rare exception.

Just because something emotionally manipulates you doesn't mean it was the plan. I have been nothing but straight forward and earnest about my thoughts yet here we are.

I started yesterday voting Red because Chris has been pushing him the previous days and because I have been trusting Chris.

Knowing I can trust Red now gives me just enough doubt in myself. It's the biggest thing that would make me doubt me

Why can you trust red? He had a bad game either way. Red didn't have a single reason Chris was scum other than knowing that he himself was town and Chris was voting him. And Chris was voting him for reasons you ultimately felt were good.

I feel like you should trust your read more than his.

Nope. The fact that you're making it this big of a thing tells me that you have nothing else here either, and makes me more confident you're scum.

Because town chris would understand that I have two conflicting things in front of me and that they both hold value and that if I'm wrong and Chris IS town then I not only am wrong on the lynch but lose whatever equity my tell may have held for the future

Scum chris however has a ton to gain by trying to figure out what I may have that allowed him a free pass for multiple days in hopes he could replicate it for future games.

Like the incessint nature of asking me for what my tell is on you just really makes me feel you're scum because town chris would see I'm at odds here and I have 2 things weighing at odds with each other and that Red's will is an ace to a king.

He claims to have had enough time to clear up his emotional state to think more clearly so he would have been doing actual work on me. This is a singular attack and one that feels a bit beneth what I thought I was dealing with.

I explicitly asked him yesterday to skip the middle man and say why Chris was scum and he couldn't do it

Does the gut of a player mean that much to you? A gut that's conditional upon his death no less? Why would you respect that so much? If he can't say why Chris is scum in game isn't that just ego rather than something of value?

If you asked me my mafia hierarchy I would probably list Red over Chris because he and I probably played more games together than Chris and I. Chris is the best, sure, but I have a bit more respect for Red. And I asked Red flat out "If I find you town, what do I do" he said "You need to kill Chris and figure out the rest afterwards." He didn't give me a long complicated thing to sort out first, he said Phase 1- Kill chris. And I am taking that to heart.

There have been several things that have made me have doubt in my tell besides this, I have mentioned I believe before.

Chris asked me day 3 to name a scum team without red or lea, I said it needed him in it.
I mentioned how the lynch on Ulti was a bit TOO calm and Ulti went down without much fight which is unlike him
The most likely partner for him is Ben and Ben avoided voting Ulti when he could have but also said to save Chris

there's a lot of pieces here that fit that I didn't want to over commit to because Red was right, game state was poor he had to be taken off the table. Until he was going to be a distraction.

No distractions. We take the parts that don't add up, we take the weight of his words, and we resolve Chris now

I mean, it's really up to everyone else if they agree with my point that you are scum You aren't engaging in my point and I have made my rather direct point, so now back to breaking down your logic in other ways. You presented that Ben is my most likely scum partner and noted day 2 he didn't vote ulti and that's suspicious so I am just pointing out how that line is not true.

Ben was voting scum and as scum himself I can't think of any reason he would have minded also voting Ulti, especially if it meant saving me.

Also in your scenario the lynch went from scum chris being bussed by two people to scum ulti being bussed by no one while I was asleep and unable to coordinate anything.

You, HB, 5tar, Lopen, and Lea just saved scum chris' bacon by lynching ulti for joining sultan in a bus of scum chris and then Ulti, who felt the need to bus me, calmly accepted his fate as he walked into the afterlife.

Hb you have this very bad habit of not understanding context of things.
