That was long past their golden age and they've degraded even farther since then. I just don't understand their aversion to things like twitch or Patreon. He employs other YouTubers to let them do their own thing, and the Game Grumps brand develops video games too. A few years ago when every YouTuber and their dog was going on tour, Arin had a bad experience with a touring company who didn't understand what the Game Grumps were doing - so he started his own touring company for other YouTubers, where their particular niche would be understood. He's keeping dozens of people employed, in an office in San Fransisco that probably costs a mint to rent - especially with how nice it looks. Ross, SuperMega, the Dream Daddy devs, dozens of assistants and camera hands, Suzy - Arin's built a small empire keeping himself and other YouTubers afloat.
