It's more practical to get a PC then some lame soystation or the bored box. Of the ones that are, there's always the risk of finding the game I bought is worthless because it conflicts with a driver I do or don't own, or it doesn't run on the version of Windows I'm currently using, or that the PC port is buggy and inferior to the console versions (WB's pulled this one multiple times). I own multiple PC games I've never been able to play. I never had that problem with my consoles. And then there's the fact that, if you don't want to use either Steam or Epic, your game options on PC are even more curtailed. I can name far more reasons why I don't want to game on a PC ever than I can reasons why I would ever want to. This has been the case for nearly 25 years, and I don't really see it changing any time in the next generation or two. ALL files, pictures, games, etc. It played some games, but definitely not "high end" games. For example: I could play Xcom but not Far Cry 3. It wasn't long before the list of games that it could play got smaller and smaller. I don't have that problem with a console. If I have buy a new system, it's going to cheaper and it'll play all the games released for that system. I don't have to worry about specifications. No worries over my graphics card. And if it has a catastrophic failure like my pc? I won't lose everything because I have my information saved in two places now. Thankfully Microsoft pretty much gave up because of this generation, so now all of their """"""xbox exclusives""""" will also be available on PC. So it's an easy choice for me to buy a PS5 next gen.
