Actually, I was probably going to put her in my top female characters list. Kana Hanazawa often gets associated with roles I'm not that fond of, but Aika was pretty fascinating and a very memorable role.

When doing my list for couples, man Kumiko x Reina is def something I gotta go for, even if it's not the OTP.

Reina in general was a great gal.

SoundEuopho was definitely a show I was trying to convince myself to put in a lot of categories I general.

The further I get away from it, the more I realize just how much I really, really like it. Really wish they would put it out to buy already.

Oh right visuals.

Uh I guess Attack on Titan sticks out for the big budget stuff.

No Game No Life stands out well too.

Really like Violet Evergarden in that category.

Woops forgot about Monogatari too, that Shaft style was very effective with it.

Mob Psycho and Land of the Lustrous were easy #1 and #2 in visuals right off the bat. Made in Abyss at #3 was a much tougher decision.

Oh I forgot to take into account movies

Ghibli, Shinkai and Hosoda works are all in play.

Plus the usual good work of many a studio.

I was considering Railgun for OP and saw it was 2009, so sadly I don't think so.

"only my railgun" is 2009. The other Railgun OPs should be eligible since they first started in 2010 or later.

Ah, I tagged this with the intention to participate but I really don't watch enough anime to justify it... or at least enough from this past decade. Just re-run 2000-2009 and I'll be all over that, lol...

Look forward to seeing the winners and maybe I'll add even more series on the (ever-expanding, never-getting-around-to) watch list.

Sket Dance is probably gonna get looked over for this which is a damn shame because its amazing. One of the few anime that made me laugh out loud and cry. The cast is great on top of being pretty unique and the serious story arcs are really good. Its also got some damn good music too.

I actually tried to get into Sket Dance around 4 months ago, but the first episode was just...so boring.

I know it had a decent following, so I should probably give it another shot.

The first episode isnt really a good example of the show anyways.

Ive basically completed my ballot outside of a category i might not vote in. My top OP and ED are from the same show.

Got mine in. Previous AOTYs have not lined up that well with my own tastes so my expectations are reserved. Though I still have a lot of popular stuff among my favorites.

Normally, I tend to give AOTY top performers a slot into SMFAS (coming april~ish!)

But AOTD is so full of juggernauts, so they're all probably already in anyway.

Hardest for A was OP/ED and characters. Hardest for B was Couple because most suck and Cast because it was tough to pick just 3.
