tbh, as of last gen, we *finally* had the entire core franchise playable in some form or another on the 3DS. RBY and GSC both had VC ports, GS had a DS remake, RS had a 3DS remake, DPP was DS, BW was DS, XY was 3DS, and SM was 3DS. That was probably the high point of the franchise as a whole. The fact that shit moved onto the Switch basically reset everything. I'm not sure we'll ever see that kind of compatibility again.

I'm sure it'd be better, but they couldn't make it amazing without the national dex restored, among other things. Plus the base game hasn't felt like shit from what I've played so far, although I'm still early into the game. Granted, I'm mostly just happy that they did't super-load us with cutscenes in the beginning like they did with S/M

im so pissed that all the shills are saying that the 200 returning pokemon "technically" arent behind a paywall like gfreak said but you cant catch them without the expansion pack so that leaves transfering which requires pokemon bank or trading, which anyone who has actually played the game knows is bullshit since they dont have the GTS anymore so good luck

30 expansion pack or 60 updated rerelease. More Pokmon always cost money, it is just going ahead with the times.

Only thing I blame GF for is the communication surrounding it all.

but they said they wouldnt release returning pokemon as dlc
and the base game was fucking nothing
so its 30 bucks for a lot of things that the game needed in the first place

The DLC looks good, but the base game is still bad. Ill be waiting forever for a price drop, but Ill never pay 60 bucks for a Pokemon game, unless its a fully realized HD Hoenn ReREMAKE

he can do actually everything, almost every single team had a place for him, amazing typing, very powerful (base 145 atk and 105 SpA) with great move pool, intimidate with great bulk and resists, he can set up and get rid of rocks
there is nothing he cant do
