Ive never understood The Offices appeal. I see the humor. I am mildly entertained. But definitely not enough to feverishly go back and watch another episode.

It really feels like I am the only person on earth that doesnt enjoy it to the level everyone else does. I dont care for it. Sorry. But I wont apologize for being who I am! I am going to wear this badge with pride!!!! So ya can call me scandaloussssss. But I know in my heart that I am marveloussssss!

Personally, I don't get the appeal. I've seen some scenes that I like, but that's about it. But the reason is probably just because I don't watch it. Or didn't watch it. And now it's probably too late. Everything about that show has been done to hell that I feel like I've seen every episode without even watching it...

Nah the US office was really entertaining, in an almost british way. You can tell they really borrowed from the UK version. Its not a raucous laugh out loud comedy but def one thatll have you smiling all the way through.

not one to rewatch though.

I watched it last year and I didn't feel that it hit it's stride until halfway through Season 2.

Everything after that was pretty damn enjoyable until part of Season 9.

Community, parks and rec, 30 rock are all overrated as well.

I second someone else's sentiment that I found the UK version to be much, much better.

With that being said, there were some funny moments in The Office (US), but I think the show is vastly overrated. I personally feel that Parks & Recreation did a much better job of capturing the spirit that The Office (US) tried to mirror from its UK counterpart.

I like it but season 3 was the peak, the last seasons like any long running series started to downgrade.
I have some complaints about it but overall people like it for their special "actors are aware they are being filmed" gimmick, the good characters and actors and the special vibe to it which is different from other sitcoms which came before it.
