Tactics Ogre and Vagrant Story have art styles more closely related to FF Tactics than Xenogears.

The art style was neat but I'll be honest, I always felt that the character designs were a little goofy. I know they were going for more realistic look for armor, but the result is it made everyone look like they had a really tiny heads and cartoonishly inflated hands.

If you're talking about the perspective, there are countless games that have more in common with FFT than Xenogears. The Disgaea series is the finest example.
