It is definitely healthier in the long run, but however since the technology for clean meat has been kicking into gear lately that Meat will essentially be just as healthy as vegan food later in the future.

It's small technology, but it is currently spreading and clean fish food is also on the way as well.

that's a stupid statement because I could eat only french fries all day every day and still be vegan.
There is obviously a lot of processed vegan food that isn't all too good for you.

But yeah, even no taking the health aspect of a vegan diet into consideration, the environmental impact is much lower.

The main reason people go vegan isn't for health reasons but for animal welfare, and environmentalism is a big reason too. Even as a meat eater myself it's hard to deny our meat farming system is pretty damn cruel.

Though only if you have auto-immune issues, and allergies (there is also leaky gut).

I wouldn't say it's healthier. I have a cousin that does guided tours in the wilderness in Michigan or Minnesota, I don't remember which, who was forced to start eating meat. She was a vegan for years and said basically in the winters there if you don't eat meat you will die. There is no way she would start eating meat again after years if she didn't feel she absolutely had to. I would say death isn't the healthier option here.

Not really

Meat if it comes from a proper source is actually pretty healthy for you. Our ancestors ate meat all the time and didnt have metabolic disease like we do now. They werent vegans by any stretch

Unfortunately, most comercial meat is raised far from what they ate and such is not nearly as good for you and may infacg cause long term harm if over consumed

i went down the youtube rabbit hole the other day and saw one vegan recipe video
and then just moved on to another and another and another. and all the food looked good and the hosts seemed nice and friendly

then i got to a video where the vegan was yelling at people for not being vegan enough and calling people who werent vegan disgusting corpse crunchers and all the comments were cheering her on and thats when i remembered "oh yeah, vegans are awful"

I'm not vegan - I'm just not a garbage, insecure human like you are.

Also who said anything about MY sexuality? I'm mentioning the fact that basic ass men somehow associate meat with masculinity - even though we're far from having to actually, you know, hunt or kill shit. So it's not really anything "tough" you're doing by eating meat.

humans have always eaten meat but for example, "hunter-gatherers" were still mostly gatherers. the "hunter" part gets romanticized if anything is getting romanticized at all (keeping in spirit with the topic title)

We know why you're posting against veganism, so quit fucking pretending you're doing some sort of intellectual service. You're not.
The majority of vegans are going to be more conscious of their dietary habits than the majority of highly defensive omnivores. You know damn well the majority of vegans will supplement their B12, you can get trace amounts from some produce and seaweeds, and the amount your body actually needs is very little since it can synthesize some of its own.
As far as the other things go - there are plenty of ways to get complete proteins without animal products. Soy is a complete protein, and there are plenty of commonly used complementary proteins.
As far as iron goes - yeah, heme iron is more bioavailable. But again - the majority of vegans are probably going to supplement. Or they'll pair their non-heme iron sources with vitamin C to increase its absorption.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with veganism. Let them live their lives.
