If the NR hadn't gone up I'd probably have saved Braska. Not too much I actually like out of the final few characters this round.

Of course now that's kinda irrelevant since I only have a couple more rounds of not having to trade for Edea twice, and by the time that's over (and I'm out of my inevitable NR armageddon) Braska's probably going to be either dead or doomed.

1) Feel a bit bad about last year when he helped me pretty big time get Ramza into the top ten and I dont think I repaid the favor yet

2) Offers too good and fits the flavor of my new main all too well. If he wants to carry through with it, fine (dont really care all that much it just matches my main now). As for gender, its whatever. A Red Mage Gaff buddy cop story could be good but I think a female, cutthroat Red Mage matches up well with Gaff.

3) Mafia is strong.

That said, I considered the others. Do think Squall deserves a title even if Im not crazy about him and Ark helped me out big time this year (Maniac as well. Man I should make Barret a tertiary at this point tbh I really like him)

Anyway I think I am at peace with how this contest went, its an Internet contest no big deal (plus I expected it to be a lot worse)

I'm disappointed Ramza didn't do a bit better. I actually gave him some saves (and likely sacrificed Seph for him) which is just not really something to be expected from me.

But I can't be disappointed in Gaffgarion as the last one standing. Outside of Algus he is the best FFT character after all.

Fixed something for you! Also I appreciate any end round Braska support, but I've had very little hope for him since the top 25. Already this is farther than I ever imagined him getting and I'm proud of how far he's come.
