No i got dissmissed from jury duty likely due to the fact im a CO and a lot of my family is. Both the DA and thr defense are allowed to remove a certian number of jurors based on questions they get to ask them before the trial starts. Me another CO and a woman married to a SBI agent (state version of FBI) got removed by the defense. We had to come back the next day though as potential jurors on another case and the judge let us know how the case went. Second case dude took a plea deal after the jury had been selected so I didnt get to see a trial either way. I have mixed feelings it woulda been a cool expierence but I also dont want to be someone who decides if someone goes to prison or not. Hell as a CO I wanna see less people get locked up cause that would be less people I gotta deal with --- Cid- "looks like that overgrown lobster just got served!"
