Hal Rounds, the Tennessee Tea Party leader claimed he could remember being BORN and LIVING in his mother's WOMB in a bizarre testimony during a debate on Abortion!!

He was making the case for the "heartbeat bill" and though tto fly in the face of the landmark Roe v Wade Supreme Court case as he told the house "I have the conceptual memory of b eing born...in the womb, there was a sensation of compression and advancement againts one side and another, this sudden urgent pressure to burst out. And when i had this dream repeatedly through my youth and one day i said, You know, that's kind of like being born. and the dream stopped, alright?. I believe that the consciousness of the child is begun in the womb and when you kill a child, you are killing a person who is not just aware of nothing but of being a person"

But Democrat, Katrina Robinson SHREDDED him after het ried to tell her that the Supreme Court alloewd abortions to late into pregnancy and asked him when brain and heart functioning begins and he answered he was UNSURE!

She said "It's the end of the second trimester. The heart's beating way before that" he said but Robinson snapped back "It's the end of the second trimester, sir.I'm a nurse. What are you?"

Tennessee's lower house passed a heartbeat bill earlier this year and banned most abortions after women are 6 weeks pregnant

Senators are now scrutnizing the bill as Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee has expressed support for the bill

Fetal heartbeats may be detected via ultrasound as early as 6 weeks and aren't reliable until 10-12 weeks into pregnancy as opponents call it unconstitutional
