I gotta give it up for the Power Rangers reboot. Aside from the gratuitous product placement, I thought it was really well done and the characters were built nicely. Had no problem with the amount of time it took to get into their suits, which seems to be a huge complaint.

Also Terminator Gensys, didnt watch anyhting on it so the twist had me.

I guess it was mostly that I did not care for either series at that point, never had watched any mad max movie cause dirt and sweaty people just didnt appeal to me which is why I never watch any kind of western, those backdrops just DO NOT appeal to me but that movie was something else despite that.

For Terminator I had only watched the first 3 and the 3rd was very meh, never watched the 4th and was dragged there to see the fifth, I really enjoyed it.

I thought the trailer seemed fucking try-hard and while I liked the MCU outside of IM1 nothing had truly blown me away.

I loved GotG and saw it again a few days later

There were some years ago, but I don't recall specific titles. I've become more open minded in terms of movies and tv shows. I'll give anything a chance. Movies get 20 minutes to grab me. Tv shows get an episode. If I'm not into it by then I move on.

Recently I watched Anna and the Apocalypse. I expected it to get my 20 minutes and I'd turn it off because I'm not really into musicals. I was wrong and ended up really enjoying it.

21 Jump Street. I remember this was when Jonah Hill was still doing teen and stoner comedies while Channing Tatum was still a bit unknown. I got dragged into watching the movie and loved it so much that I saw the sequel opening night.

Waited for it on Netflix cause Ep. 7 & 8 were both trash. Ended up liking it a lot.

Also the new lion king. Went with co-workers after work one night expecting it to be trash and ended up thinking it was on par with the original.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes. I thought the concept was too fucking stupid to work and it has now become one of my favorite trilogies ever.

I was surprised how much I enjoyed Rogue One. It's my favorite of any Star Wars movie made after The Empire Strikes Back.

Pretty much agree. I can't say I loved it, but it was really enjoyable and I think it's underrated.

Solo. Even as a big Star Wars fan I didn't expect to care for it that much, but after the ending I wanted a continuation.

Wonder Woman as well. Only DC hero I care about is Batman and BvS sucked, but Wonder Woman was great.
