30 y/o Free Agent Jeremy Lin sobbed uncontrollably to an audience on a Christian TV cast in Taiwan stating he believes the "NBA has given up on him" following his 9th season win as the only asian player to have ever been on a winning team in the sport.

After winning with the Raptors, the Harvard alum remains unsigned after signing only a 1 year deal with Toronto whose already lost its top players like Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green who moved back to play for California Teams

30 teams of the league already doled over 1 BILLION to pick their players but Lin was left out of the cold..

He said "Every year it gets harder" as he struggled to hold back tears and said in English "there's a saying and it says once you hit rock bottom, the only way is up. But rock bottom just seems to keep getting more and more rock bottom for me. So free agency, has been tough because i feel like in some ways the NBAs kind of given up on me"

He was the first American NBA Player of Chinese or Taiwanese Descent to be on a winning team but he only played ONE MINUTE of the Raptors recent NBA victory over the Golden State Warriors, who actually signed him as an undrafted rookie in 2010.. He was later cut and picked up by the Houston Rockets and waived again before landing in NY where he became an international sensation for the Knicks in 2012

He got the name "Linsanity" in early February while leading injury ravaged Knicks, losers of the 11 of their previous 13 games and went on a 7 game winning streak

But a knee injury derailed his breakout season and has struggled to stay healthy over the last 7 seasons. The most devastating setback was in 2017 where he tore the patella tendon in his right knee as he burst into tears on the court and said "I'm done, i'm done"

Although he technically was the first asian-american player to win a title, he felt he didn't earn his first ring and said "After the season i had to get ready for this Asia trip and it was the last thing i wanted to do. Because i knew for 6 weeks i would have to just put on a smile. I woudl have ot talk about a championship that i don't feel like i really earned. I would have ot talk about a basketball future i don't know if i want to have. And honestly, it's just embarrassing. it's tough"

His speech was motivational and aimed at young people to overcome adversity and said "I'm here to just tell you don't give up. For those of you who are working hard, but you don't see the results, don't give up"

He had an 80% free throw shooter over his career and averaged 11.6 points and 4.3 assists and earned over 65 million in salary.

Do you think Jeremy should give up the NBA and try something else?

The guy has made just over $65 million in salary alone, not including sponsors, and is an NBA champion. Retire and live the good life.
