The anime has looked pretty grungy since the King Crimson episode, generally cheap looking with some bad off models and "quality" faces. This all changed with Doppio hitting the scene, and has looked great since. It wasn't a ton of episodes or anything, but there were a few weeks there where they were obviously holding back on stuff that didn't matter in favor of this finish line run.

I don't know why I said long period, it was like a month, month and a half.

Poor Polnareff, I wonder what happened? And while I did like this fight quite a bit, the animation was weird at times. Like the shots of Bruno running through zippers underground looked awkward.

We already saw what happened in part 4 when the arrow pierces a stand user a 2nd time

but the real secret is when the arrow pierces the stand itself a 2nd time

Early on in the Part 5 anime they fixed a plot hole from the manga regarding this by having the arrow from Black Sabbath only graze Giorno's/GE's hand by him catching it instead of piercing it like it did in the manga and having nothing happen

Unless of course you subscribe to the theory that The arrow with the beetle design is specifically for creating new stands unlike the other 5 arrows which just have generic designs then just ignore all the above.
