SmackDown Week 1

John Cena opens up SmackDown. He is really excited because recently during his free time he was watching some classic wrestling on the WWE network, of which you can get for just 9.99 a month. I found something that I would like to reintroduce and that is a ranking system! Classic! The more matches you win the higher you are in the ranking. You beat some ahead of you in the rankings you switch spots and etc. So ladies and gentlemen, the following are in the division for our World Heavyweight title. First, at the top of the mountain, is our champion Bobby Roode. Next, will be our ex-champion who will have a chance at payback AT Payback. Next, will be Roman Reigns and then Sting. Both Reigns and Sting were successful at Extreme Rules last night, however, Reigns has tenure over Sting, who recently unretired. Kevin Owens will be next despite because being inactive is better than losing. Finally, these two will fight next for a chance to move up in the ranking in Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins. So to sum up before these two tear the house down.

Cena has a leaderbord setup in his office about his ranking system. He place DB in 6 spot and the 7th spot. He seems pretty excited until Triple H walked into his office. 'John, I'm afraid we gotta talk about your budget?'
Cena, surprised, asks 'What budget? I never had to deal with a budget before!'
HHH: 'Well, as it turns out, Old Man Vince has been abusing the budget for years and frankly, I don't know how we're in the black. Anyways, I've had to cut the budget down for SmackDown. You're going to need to use a lot less money from now on. All of your top stars are too expensive to keep showing up every week and frankly we need to get smaller venues!'
Cena: 'What are you talking about? We sold out tonight. Also, we aren't pay-per-apperance contracts? Otherwise some of the undercard guys like Rosey would go broke.'
HHH: 'Don't worry! Those guys I was able to structure their contracts but your main events well... not so much.'
Cena is overly annoyed at this point. 'Which guys are now PPA?'
HHH: 'Well, Roode is under a champion's contract that I made now. So, Harper, Reigns, Sting, Owens--'
Cena: 'Is this for real or are you just reading off of my leader board.'
HHH: 'No this is for real. Why would I joke about this?'
Cena: 'Because you're still mad about losing your GM job and I just started this awesome ranking system that you're attempting to sabotage.'
HHH: 'Why would I jealous? I run the entire company now! Anyways, I'm out of time, just get your budget under control. Otherwise, I may need to replace you.'

Triple H leaves and Cena under his breath "budget... Budget my ass. GM has NEVER had to worry about Money before..."

Jericho comes in: "Well he does now! MR. MONEY in fact! How in the world is MR. MONEY IN THE BANK, THE BEST IN THE WORLD AT WHAT I DO, NOT in the ranking?!"

Cena: "Chris, I haven't seen you in a month."
Jericho: "Well that doesn't matter! I need to be in the ranking, or else you're gonna--" (Cena is checking his phone while Jericho talks)
Cena: "Chris, I don't have time for this. Someone else sent me a text and wants in. You'll face him next week."
Jericho almost puts Cena on the list but then walks out. (97)

Ali defeats Alexander and TJP. (56)

Broken Matt Hardy is doing his thing when Jeff Hardy comes in. Matt asks Jeff why he isn't in character. Jeff tells Matt that after being in the Lake or Reincarnation he is a new man, Matt will have to fly solo. Matt is sad but understands. (77)

The Drew McIntyre open challenge this week but Drew seems to be in a bitter mood. Kofi Kingston comes out to answer the challenge but is immediately hit with the Claymore and Drew beats Kofi down until Xavier comes out. The ref separates the two. Drew goes to leave the ring when Cena gets on the titantron and says that since the bell never rang Drew's challenge was never accepted and therefore, Drew will now face Xavier woods for his United States title! (86)

Xavier Woods defeats with Drew McIntyre to become the United States champion! (83)

Backstage, Cena finishes clapping for Xavier's win when he turns to see Luke Harper behind him. Before Cena can ask him what he wants Harper says: "I want James Storm."
Cena says: "Tonight?"
Harper: "Tonight."
Cena: "Okay, sounds good. You'll be our Main Event."
Harper: "That was easy."
Harper walks out. Cena nods in approval. (87)

The Dancing Buzzards defeats MVP/Shelton Benjamin. (76) After the match, the Buzzards are attacked and beaten down by J&J security. (73)

Evan Bourne defeats Kalisto and Curtis Axel. (69)

Roman Reigns is in the background gloating about his ranking and keep barking about how the "if it weren't for rematch clauses the big dawg would be number one." Owens comes out and corrects him and tells Reigns that "If Cena weren't an idiot, Kevin Owens would have been booked and he would be next in line. The two yell at each other and Cena comes out tells them they will face off next week for Roman's spot. Owens is excited, Reigns is furious. (90)

James Storm defeats Luke Harper. During the match, Harper had just hit Roode with a sitdown powerbomb when Jericho's music hits. When it does Harper is attacked by the rest of Beer Money and Storm hits a Superkick for the win. (81)

Shane McMahon starts the show in the ring. He is visibly upset. Tells the world that he doesn't know what kind of black magic voodoo is going on around here but he demands the Boogeyman to not show up randomly and come face him face to face. It is silent in the arena for a moment and then Shane is answered by Triple H. Triple H tells Shane to quit blaming what happened on unnatural causes. It is simple Shane became inept at being a GM and the things I have heard from the Boogeyman suggest that he can do an even job. Tonight, Shane will have a little fun. For the first time in years Shane McMahon will be wrestling on Monday Night Raw! Against an opponent of The Boogeyman's choice! (88)

Samoa Joe beats Kurt Angle with the Kokita Clutch. (64)

Chris Hero defeats Sami Zayn with a Hero's Slam. (80)

Jessie Godderz is seen coming into the arena when he is attacked and beaten down by all four members of the League of Nations. It is apparent that Godderz is injured. (74)

After the match, Bliss goes berserk and begins to beat down Sara Del Ray when... It's Emma! Emma is going to help Sara Del Rey! Emma and Alexa join eyes and they both beat down Sara Del Rey! Oh no! (52)

Bully Ray (without Velvet) is backstage talking to Renee about of how it will be a waste of time it will be for his fiancee to face Charlotte again. Finally, Cesaro walks over. "You know, I was just going to mind my own business but I can't listen to this garbage anymore. Your future-wife is a strong woman, she can talk for herself but the worst part is she isn't even her! You're going out of your way to put this woman, the daughter of a hall of famer down." Bully is engraged and gets in the face of Cesaro and tells him to mind his own damn business. Cesaro scoffs and says "geez, have some respect." and Bully attacks him from behind. (81)

The camera cuts to backstage in catering where a handful of superstars including Big E, Mr. Anderson, Bad Influence and couple of jobbers are hanging out when Brock Lesnar comes in flips a table. Throws Rich Swann, and Enzo at the wall. Big E attempts to talk him but Brock hits him over the head with a crockpot. Anderson joins the fight but Brock spinebusters him through a cheese plat. Big Cass attempts to grapple Brock and is throw into a wall. Catering area is destroyed and Brock grabs a drumstick from an untouched turkey and walks off. Daniels and Kazarian come out from behind there table and Daniels asks "Was that all for the turkey?" (96)

Mahal/Hassan defeat a battered Enzo and Cass. (78)

Zack Ryder asks Triple H how he is supposed to get a rematch without Godderz. Triple H is honest with Zack and says he already named the Europe #1 contender. So if he wants to be #1 contender he will have to beat the entire League of Nations. (78)

The Lunatic Dean Ambrose is who is selected by Boogeyman to face Shane. Dean wins. (65)

Zack Ryder hit Sheamus with a Rough Ryder when he dodges a Brogue Kick to defeat Sheamus. (71)

The Miz and AJ are having a contract signing for their future title match. The Miz opens with a long winded speech about not only being a one-time must see champion but a two-time must see champion and he is soon to bring the WWE back into the lime-light! AJ Styles interrupts saying that there is no way that a man of The Miz's "skillset" is possibly capable of taking the WWE back into the lime-light! AJ Styles proved when he changed SmackDown into the "House that A-J STYLES BUILT" that pure solid wrestling is more well-liked that "gimmicks" like the Miz! The Miz stands up in anger! He claims that he is tired of this sentiment that keeps getting pushed around about him. Just because he didn't to travel the world and learn these gimmicky ways of wrestling doesn't mean they are actually better wrestlers. AJ Styles says if that is the case then all the Miz has to do is then prove it. The Miz says he would love to! AJ raises the stakes, he suggests he and the Miz do a pick your poison. The winner will pick a stipulation. If they both win or lose then it will be a standard singles match. The Miz agrees and then whistles and Gunner puts Styles through a table. (100)
