How do audiobooks affect you? Tons of LN's these days have been getting them
I presume they would be relatively fine, but it's kind of tough to go at the pace of an audiobook. I know I started an audiobook of wheel of time but got too bored after a couple hours to continue. I should check it out for some though, I haven't really looked into light novels as a whole.

Was actually talking to my mom about this earlier. It's kind of like how it's really hard to play pokemon for me now if it's not an emulator with speedup because vba just got me too used to the speed up. I know some people who only watch videos at 1.5 or 2x speed and I worry I'd not be able to switch back if I ever tried that for a week or two.

I did at one point find a youtube video of a guy reading tower of god where the person just has the webtoon on screen and reads it out loud but that triggered my issues as well IIRC.

Also for anime just as a test I've watched it muted, and also listened to it without watching it, and they both triggered the same response as just watching it normally.

It really seems like activating certain sections of my brain or nervous system also activate some nearby system because playing different video games, or watching anime, or reading, or doing puzzles all cause consistent but different symptoms. Kind of like synethesia I guess. I have visual snow which is also the same type of symptom where one thing also activates a nearby section of the brain it shouldn't. You'd think all this shit was specific and rare enough that it'd be perfect clues for doctors to pinpoint exactly whats wrong but you'd be overestimating what doctors actually do.
