I'd be lying if I said I didn't want more castle myself, but RE is a series that is constantly reinventing itself (sometimes multiple times per game, as we see here) and its true identity IMO is in that fluidity and reinvention. The castle definitely feels like RE1, but the whole game is unmistakably "Resident Evil."
