Gameplay took a while to get used to as I'm not very used to isometric games, but once I got the hang of it I enjoyed my time. Controls are normally a make-or-break deal for me, but I was able to get through this game despite the controls being GODAWFUL. They actually got worse over time, as I was able to move with holding RMB at first, but for some reason that totally glitched out on the final two missions and I had to start using the arrow keys. Not great considering that slowed my shooting and enemies in the final missions hit hard. Anyway, fun setting, great cutscenes (man, FMV is such a hoot), an astonishing OST (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSF4LJLYByU this is the first mission for crying out loud) but godawful controls. I don't own the sequel and I'm wondering if I should find some way to put in my collection so I might play it someday. --- How paralyzingly dull, boring and tedious! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
