| xp1337 05/20/20 1:39:45 AM #18: | LotM's point, and I agree, is that Barr and Trump's DOJ would announce some investigation against whoever the Democratic nominee was. They assumed it would be Biden so we saw them start that engine up (far earlier than they'd like, leading to literal impeachment) but they'd do the same with Sanders or Warren or Buttigieg if they had won. Off the top of my head I assume the BS "investigations" they'd go with for those three would be: Jane Sanders/universities or non-profit, allege there was some fraud perpetuated around the whole Native American thing with Warren, announce a federal investigation into police shootings in South Bend with Buttigieg. The difference with all of these as well as with Biden in comparison to Clinton is that Clinton had 25 years of the GOP hate machine laying the groundwork on Clinton so their base was already primed to hate her and the narratives had been floating around for so long that even people outside the bubble would start going "well i've been hearing stuff about her for over two decades that couldn't happen unless there was something there, right!?" --- xp1337: Don't you wish there was a spell-checker that told you when you a word out? ...
