No they don't. Poor people of all races still have to pay the same price for a house in a more affluent area. There's no discount in housing prices for being white.

they absolutely do

for one thing, its a common practice for relatives to sell to each other at discounted prices (its common enough that most studies that collect information on property values ignore sales under a certain amount so that they only deal with arms length transactions)

the actual statistic I'm citing is from a book chapter "Neighborhoods and Segregation" in "Shared Prosperity for American Communities"

the finding is that black families making >$100k live in less affluent areas than white families making <$25k
