There's no discount in housing prices for being white. they absolutely do for one thing, its a common practice for relatives to sell to each other at discounted prices (its common enough that most studies that collect information on property values ignore sales under a certain amount so that they only deal with arms length transactions) but even without that, there are many ways that housing becomes segregated along lines other than price: https://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/article/What-Happens-When-Black-People-Search-for-14845162.php the actual statistic I'm citing is from a book chapter "Neighborhoods and Segregation" in "Shared Prosperity for American Communities" the finding is that black families making >$100k live in less affluent areas than white families making <$25k --- But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. ...
