No, just that many people make exceptions for skilled labor. US and UK conservatives are pretty against unskilled immigrants without means to support themselves.

So basically you're saying that both of your parties use the same verbiage as Republicans and Americans with harder-line stances regarding immigration? Keep in mind that even American Democrats have occasionally suggested opening borders and quite a few high-profile Democrats have all but suggested eliminating borders.
