I think the best way to describe a Karen is that she's a customer who is determined to get her way and will gladly trample all over you and go over your head and flat-out ignore all logic to get it. She's the kind of customer who will get furious at you if you give her a cheeseburger instead of a hamburger with cheese like she ordered and will gladly try to fire your ass for not conforming to her every demand. She hears 'The Customer is Always Right' and acts like this means she can pull shit like not paying for products, getting refunds for items your store doesn't sell and she used up anyways, and demanding you get fired for trying to stop her from taking her kids to see an R-rated movie as well as for showing said R-rated movie in the first place when things inevitably go south. She is terror incarnate. She is the thing retail workers dread having to deal with because it means nothing but pain and complaints. The epitome of snotty, entitled, and rude privilege.
