As someone who has a fully bar of rare and expensive whisky, I have never been buzzed or drunk a day in my life. So enjoy drinking as much or little as you like. I am content with a 3 ounce pour in a glencairn glass and sniffing and sipping on that 3 ounce for the length of a movie.
