| Kamekguy 01/14/20 12:12:49 AM #39: | Automata fits into the mold that I think Shadow of the Colossus fit in - that being gaining respect over time. I feel like in a "Game of the Decade" contest, it fits the mold closer to an SotC or a Bioshock, which did pretty damn well for themselves compared to their baselines in 2010. Bloodborne has that to a lesser extent, having up to three souls games and Sekiro there to drain it; depending on where it is in bracket and how many FromSofts get in, I feel like fatigue might be an actual knock against it - not much but enough to sway a percent or so. Automata > Three Houses feels right, though I wouldn't be surprised to have that flop against me if it were in bracket or if one of the Three Houses voice actors that people follow gets bored on Twitter (because that's really on brand from what I've seen of at least Claude's VA's stuff). --- Doin' Game Design Vids: https://www.youtube.com/c/DesigningFor ...
