In fact, if I accidentally close the confirmation window, I tend to outright freeze for 3-5 seconds. The constant fps gains are super noticeable. (am still windows 7) I'm assuming that pop-up ends the anti-cheat garbage they're running, because of course Capcom would tank the CPU for anti-cheat, because if nothing else can use the CPU, then no cheat programs can run.
