I'm going to say the same thing I said for the all-female Ghostbusters - the problem isn't who they pick to star, the problem is the script. With Ramis dead, Ackroyd not writing, and the trend for modern writers to completely misunderstand the appeal of the 80s films they're callously exploiting (which results in them either going completely camp and stupid or overly serious, either way the tone being all wrong), the end result is almost always an abomination that should have been left to quietly die. And this basically looks like someone decided that Stranger Things is really popular, so they should just make a Stranger Things/Ghostbusters crossover sort of movie.
