But from what I caught it was professors discussing the history of impeachment and the implications of letting Trump get away with this. Unfortunately, I also caught the GOP defense where they dont dispute the facts but shit on the professors and then say, Look at the facts. The very facts they are ignoring but theyre hoping that someone tunes in and catches them saying, Look at the facts, and extrapolating that theyre in the right. Either in 2020 or 2024 Trump is gone. But the damage from this mess will have eroded our system of checks and balances for decades to come. Trumps approval rating is 41%. No president seeking a second term has won with a rating worse than 48%. And very unlikely Democrat voters will stay home in 2020 like they did in 2016. --- Fall down, go boom...
