It costs like $400 in annual registration fees for a car. It's like $3,000 a month to rent a crappy 2 bedroom condo. Gas is at $3.80 a gallon. These things make life very difficult for regular people and yet they keep voting against policies that might actually help people. That would be the Republicans, actually. At least in SoCal. Cant speak for NorCal but idk where this myth that SoCals housing crisis is from the liberals in the state.
